arre!! Ruk jaa re bandeh,
arre!! Tham jaa re bandeh,
Ki kudrat has padegi….

Where are we heading to??? Is money everything in life? Why are we fooling in name of Jihad? what do we get in blowing up people travelling in a local train. You wish to prove your power to the king by killing his men.. ? isn’t it so hypocritical? I always believed in one thing that if you got a problem, com’on , front me.. lets talk face to face.. lets fight it out… you got the guts!!! Kill me… why kill those innocent people out on the streets who even don;t know the purpose of their existence? I know you are fighting because you dont have anything better to do…u silly, educated assholes…

kise kaafir kahega,
kise kaayar kahega,
teri kab tak chalegi.

you tell that all the people here are outcastes but i think you are kaafirs. It doesn’t matter whether I believe in God or not but you, definitely are rascals. I pray that your soul must rest in peace but you’ll pay it for one day.

Samay ki laal aandhi,
kabristaan ke raste,
arre!! lathpath chalegi …

There is still time and its not too late. Just get the right path. There is no point fighting for a cause which does not exist. Otherwise, one day this time will definitely catch you and blow you away the same way you blow people!!!.. If you still want to continue on the path you have taken, I canjust pray for you…

Arre!! masjid yeh chup hai,
mandir hai gumsum,
Ibaadat phat padegi…

Get some sense… God bless you…

Yeh andhi chot teri,
kabhi ki sookh jaati,
magar ab pak chalegi …

Jugni!!!! Our Beloved Land !!!

I have heard those stories and read in history books that our land, our country “India” used to be called “The Golden Sparrow”. But I really don’t know whether to believe this history or not. I was born in free India, but then, am I really free? I have read in history that our ancestors laid their lives to get this freedom. But was it worth it? They also could have enjoyed with their families if they knew that the cause they are fighting for will be lost in future.

India is shining. We have IT industry here. aren’t we slaves of US ? we are happy to do dirty jobs outsourced to India because they don’t want to do it and we are cheap labor. The economy is booming. People in the country are dying of hunger but we are still exporting food grains. We are building flyovers but not basic roads. Thousands of villages are still going powerless every night but we are still opposing nuclear deal. Terrorists are on the rise like mosquitos but we have still fighting for their human rights.

I don’t know where this shining country is going. Instead of creating jobs, people still wish to go to US even if they sell burgers or drive taxis there. Police is busy extorting money from public instead of maintaining law and order. Criminals go scot free and innocents are still stuffed in jail. Isn’t it similar to what britishers did to us?

I am sure my grandfather didn’t fight for this so that India becomes a slave of money one day….

Veer Mereya ve Jugni kehndi aa,
aj naam guraan da lehndi aa.

(My Brother, Our Jugni is whispering this in our ears,
She has just left Herself to the mercy of God … )

God!!! You are needed again. Its time again….

Garib Rath… Living up to its name!!

Huh.. After so many years, I got a chance to travel by train. I traveled from Hyderabad to Bangalore by Yeshwantpur Express a.k.a GARIB RATH. Although, I have traveled by train a lot in my early days, but for past few years, I could not manage train travel. So, I had some pre-concieved notion of trains in my mind especially, when a train is named as Garib Rath.

The journey began by waiting at Begumpet Railway Station for more than an hour. I reached early at the station just to be on a safe side because trains don’t have a last call for boarding :-) . After I got into the train, It took a long time to understand the seating arrangement. It was just so confusing. Yes, confusing because Indian Railways has introduced one more middle berth on the sides.

Finally, I got it clear that the person sitting on our opposite side is sitting temporarily as only two people can sit on side seats but at night, these two seats convert into three berths (Please don’t ask me more explainations. :-) ). After few minutes, I noticed that all the people are going out of the compartment and are coming back with a set of Blanket, sheets, and pillow. Then, i was enlightened that the full set is on rent for a night and is charged Rs 25/- . Great business idea. Definitely, Lalu has some brains at right place. So, I also got up and got my stuff for 25 bucks.

Now, comes the turn of food. Food is not provided in the compartments but passengers have to walk down till the pantry and get their own stuff at nominal pricing. The choice is not available. Either it is Veg biryani or Chicken Biryani. Som being a veggie, i get my veg biryani and gorge on it. So, a point of advice, if you happen to travel by Garib Rath, carry your own food.

After my one course meal, I climb up to my berth and switch on my laptop thinking to finish off some office work. but then, I as usual, I plugged in my headphones and started some music from one song to another. and Bang!!! I came across an old nostalgic song. Do you remember your Doordarshan (The only TV channel before the advent of cable TV.)days. Most of you might not have been born when this program was telecasted on DD. Yes, I am talking about Jungle Book. and the song is

“Jungle Jungle Baat Chali hai, pata chala hai,
Chaddi pehen ke Phool Khila hai, Phool Khila hai”

I removed the headphones from socket and made my friend listen to it. Even he remembered this song. He told me that he used to watch this program in Telugu language.

The Person next to my berth was snoring heavily like some mortar shells being fired from across the border. The noise was deafning. But soon I got used to it like Indian soldiers are used to Pakistani rattlings. His stomach was moving in and out with eary breath he took.

And then, I also slept over and got up the next morning. Got down the train with in next 1/2 hour.

Had a harrowing experience at the railway station i just don’t wish to recall..

but I got a new ringtone for my cell phone.

“Jungle Jungle Baat Chali hai, pata chala hai,
Chaddi pehen ke Phool Khila hai, Phool Khila hai”

She whispered in her ears. He was just overwhelmed hearing the word she mentioned. He could not believe in the moment. It seemed as if clouds are passing over his head. He could never imagine her telling him something like this.

It was just like yesterday. They were such good friends. Their lives were incomplete without each other. She completed him. They were a shadow to each other. He still remembered the first day they met in school. She had come with her parents, wearing a tunic with a handkerchief stuck on her chest pocket. She was crying, crying loudly while her parents tried to console her and persuaded her to stay back in school. Her teacher was trying to console her by giving a chocolate. He, then, walked up to her, held her hand, and took her to the class. She stopped crying and didn’t even look back at her parents. They both knew that they have found a friend for life.

But the equation doesn’t seem to be balanced anymore. She is not the same girl he met on first day in school. She is, now, a very pretty girl. He is a guy with glasses, a lean and thin structure wearing sandals. She is always dressed up where as he doesn’t even care about the colour of his trousers. They looked like a perfect mismatch but then, they were still the best friends. Still, there was no distance between these two people.

Then, what did she whisper in his ears that he became pale? He lost the gleam in his eyes and could not look up. She also looked depressed but he was losing self control. He had never misbehaved in his life but now, he didn’t even know how to react. What did she ask for?

Do you know what did she ask for?
